I is for Indecision

I used to be indecisive, but now I’m not so sure.

I was unsure as to whether to write “I” about indecision, since I am one of the most indecisive people you’ll ever meet. I have no answers. I beg your help. I have a million embryonic stories, but I just cannot decide which to develop, so I go from half formed story to incomplete character, never quite finishing anything.

I apologize, if you eagerly opened this blog hoping once again for me to dazzle you with my brilliance. For here, I have little to offer, except perhaps solidarity.

  1. But has to be better to be overwhelmed with too many ideas than struggling to come up with any. I don’t have any great tips, I’m afraid – perhaps a lucky dip?! Good luck.

  2. I write out a character story. It’s in a separate document and I even browse the internet for pictures of what I imagine the character to look like in my head. It really helps. Try to think of little things that make the character different or unique. It’ll help to get to know your character a bit better. Just my 2 cents.

  3. Jen,
You speak the thoughts I am so indecisive about posting to my small blog world. Love it! You’ve got a great rhythm/flow to your writing. Looking forward to poking around your site more.

    Cheers,
